A note from Mrs. Flaviani:
After teaching children with emotional impairments for a couple of years, I was recruited to teach children with autism in Oakland County. When my children were born, I took some time away from teaching to stay home with them. Upon returning, I found an opening in third grade and have been teaching third grade for close to 10 years. I look forward to learning new ideas and helping children to enjoy learning. I also enjoy traveling and exploring. My husband and sons keep me busy exploring Michigan beaches, shipwrecks, lighthouses, zoos, museums, and parks. We also love visiting new states. We even drove to San Antonio last April. My life experiences help me bring a different perspective to my classroom which hopefully encourages students to live, laugh, and love the world around them.
